Part of the West Frisian Islands, Schiermonnikoog is a tiny island off the northern coast of Holland: a quiet getaway for the Dutch and a miraculously untouched secret for everyone else.

We may have never been able to pronounce the name properly, but we tried. By golly, did we try. In this episode we also explore the car-free, bicycle-friendly Amsterdam and Giethoorn, a storybook canal town in the north where the only way to get around is by tiny boats.
